Nestled in the pristine Northwoods of Wisconsin, the Crystal Lake Scout Reservation is the perfect place for your unit's outdoor adventures. From simple overnight camping opportunities to week-long summer camps to kayaking in the Apostle Islands, the CLSR offers a wide variety of programs to fit your unit's every need.

The CLSR offers premier camping programs year-round including: Cub Scout summer opportunities at Akela's World Cub Scout Camp, Boy Scout & Venturing summer camp opportunities at Tesomas Scout Camp, week long high adventure treks through Hanna Venture Base and winter camp programs for all ages.

Summer Camp Webinars

Please join us for one of the Camp Preview webinars listed below to learn about our exciting programs and services for 2015.  Key Leaders from the reservation will be available to answer your questions.  Leaders and parents are encouraged to attend and discover what awaits them this summer. We will also demo the online registration system for those new to the process.

2016 Camp Signup

Beginning March 1, 2015 at 1:00 PM, 2016 reservations for Akela’s World Cub Scout Camp and Tesomas Scout Camp will be accepted online. Reservation preferences received will be filled in the following order: In-Council, FOS achieving Units, time stamp. Reservations received after March 7 will be on a first come, first served basis. Units are encouraged to reserve space early, as popular weeks fill up quickly. A non-refundable reservation fee of $5 per camper is due with your reservation. These fees will apply toward your camp fees. Units will be allowed to signup and mail a check to the council office to cover this deposit.

Northwoods High Adventure

Northwoods High Adventure Base is the ultimate Scouting experience. As youth get older they want greater freedom, increased responsibility, and added adventure from their summer camp experience. These adventures offer young people a way to safely explore some incredible wilderness and develop the skills for a lifetime of adventure and leadership.

Boy Scouts and Venturers can choose from several adventures. Fees include 
all special equipment, staff support, transportation, and food. You can’t beat this price or the experience. Space is limited, signup early. Registration is open to entire troops, crews or individuals. Adults are welcome to participate as well.
