During your stay with us, your group will be part of a Super Den. Usually several units are in a den of about 40 campers. Sometimes a larger unit will make up the entire Super Den on their own. You will share a campsite with the other units in your Super Den. Your tables in the Dining Hall will be in the same area too.
During program time your Super Den Chief, a staff guide, will lead you on your adventures to the various program areas. They will come to your densite and help round up the Scouts and get everyone on their way. To keep the Scouts entertained they will lead the boys in songs and activities.
The Super Den Chief is also your main staff contact for questions and concerns. If he is unable to answer your questions please feel free to contact the Program or Camp Director.
Your Super Den Chief will also have one or two assistants. These assistants are Counselors-in-Training. They are volunteer staff in an internship program. Even with this assistance, at times the Super Den Chief will need your help. With roughly 25 Scouts in a Super Den their job can be a challenge. Please lend a hand as you can.

There's no port for us to land here, Captain! We'll have to climb the Cliffs of Despair! Face the fearsome climbing wall and show what kind of pirate you really are! The Webelos will travel to Hanna Venture Base to try this unique adventure. The indoor climbing wall is 22 feet high with three different sections to allow for all kinds of paths. All Scouts are outfitted with safety equipment and are assisted and encouraged by certified climbing staff.
We're off the map…Here there be monsters! We're under attack by all manner of ghost, serpents, and other sea monsters. We need your help to defend the ship before they sink us! Use BB guns, bows, slingshots, and rocks to keep the fearsome sea monsters at bay. At Crockett's Glen you may also earn the BB Gun and Archery belt loops.
We've found the Royal Navy's Port Royale! Those goons have stolen our treasure, and we want it back! Storm the fort and attack the buffoons with sopping wet sponges. When they're soaking wet, they'll be sorry that they ever messed with this pirate crew.

Here you can experience the refreshing waters of Crystal Lake. Our lifeguards are available to help you with your swimming belt loop or provide basic swimming instruction. There are also beach and water toys available for use. Boating opportunities include rowboats or paddle boats, and for the Webelos, we have a set of sit-on-top kayaks to tour around on. Bring your own fishing pole and tackle, or try a bamboo pole in true Huck Finn style. Grab a parent and you can work on the fishing belt loop.
Set sail on the infamous Flying Scotsman! You'd better follow the captain's orders, or he might make you walk the plank. Once you're on your way, you'll have to defend the ship against enemy marauders. Man the cannons and prepare to fire!
